Mission Statement

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. Your unwavering support has been the cornerstone of our mission at the TPC Tiger Preservation Center, and we are reaching out with a heartfelt message as well as passing on to you an urgent matter that requires your attention.

The issue of overcrowding in animal sanctuaries, especially those housing majestic creatures like lions and tigers, has become increasingly challenging. While our commitment to providing a safe home for these animals, we realize we can accomplish the mission of saving more lives with your help.  As we remain steadfast, we are faced with the pressing reality that the number of big cats in need of rescue continues to rise.

It is crucial to emphasize a profound truth about these magnificent animals: despite being wild by nature, when raised on a bottle and domesticated by humans, they form a unique bond that transcends their wild origins. The lions and tigers at our sanctuary have been nurtured and cared for since their arrival at TPC-N. This hard work of gaining their trust and establishing a connection with each in his or her frail state has created a bond which in turn mirrors love and trust and creates the profound bond only God can facilitate.

In captivity, these big cats crave and thrive on the companionship of their human caregivers. The individualized care and attention they receive are paramount to their well-being. Contrary to their wild counterparts, our big cats, having been raised in captivity, depend on human interaction to ensure their physical and emotional health.  Our daily interaction with them is essential to monitor their overall condition and address any potential issues promptly.

This is not about getting a herd of big cats, or hoarding these precious ones, and throwing food to them daily, it’s about creating a bond through interaction, thereby creating a communicating pattern which they thrive on in captivity.

At the TPCN Tiger Preservation Center- Nevada we pride ourselves on our commitment to giving each animal the attention and care they deserve. Our approach involves understanding the unique preferences and needs of every tiger, ensuring they receive the food they enjoy and the human interaction they crave. This individualized care is vital to their happiness and overall quality of life in captivity.

It is a sad reality that many big cats, once loved as domestic pets, feel abandoned when dumped or taken from their surroundings. This is true not only for the exotic species but also for feral cats that were once cherished by their human companions.  At TPCN, we promise never to leave any fur baby behind, regardless of whether they come to us as exotic or domestic species. Our dedication to their well-being is unwavering, and we stand by our commitment to provide a loving home for every animal that seeks refuge at our center.

As we navigate the challenges of overcrowding and increased demand for our services, we are reaching out to compassionate individuals who share our vision. We invite you to join us in our mission to ensure the well-being of these incredible precious babies we have come to call our fur family. Your continued support is crucial in helping us provide the care and attention each tiger deserves, fostering a bond that transcends the boundaries between species.

Thank you for being the heart and soul of our mission. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these magnificent ones, and, with your support, we will continue to be a place of hope to those who find their way home, a hope for those in need.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Sincerely,

Bonnie N Tigers
